Sol's RNG Biomes Explained: Native Rates and Which Auras They Unlock

Biomes are periodic world states that rewrite the odds table while they last. Understanding them is worth more than any potion recipe, because their discounts multiply with everything else you do.

Native rate: the biome discount

Most rare auras have two numbers in our aura index: a base rate (any roll, any time) and a native rate (rolls made while the matching biome is active). The discount is typically 2-5×, and on high-end targets it is decisive: Archangel falls from 1-in-350M to 1-in-70M under Heaven; Hades from 1-in-6.67M to 1-in-1.11M in Hell.

Biome-locked auras

Some auras have no base rate at all — they exist only inside their biome. Monarch and Oppression (Glitched biome) are the canonical examples: outside the window, no quantity of rolls or potions can produce them. When one of these biomes appears, it is a server event; treat it like one.

The biomes you’ll plan around

The rotation includes weather states (Windy — home of Stormal), celestial states (Starfall for Astral, Singularity for Galaxy), and destination zones with their own rules — Heaven, Hell, Cyberspace (Pixelation’s halved odds), The Limbo (Nyctophobia) and The Citadel Of Orders (Apostolos).

Planning a chase around windows

  1. Pick the target in the index, note its biome column.
  2. Hoard potions — the stacking guide covers the order.
  3. Roll dry between windows; burst with the full stack inside them.

Biome appearances are the game’s true clock. Players who sync their potion economy to it compress months of grinding into the windows themselves.
